Breech Baby Turning

Moxabustion is used to re-balance the uterus to aid in the re-positioning of the fetus. It is ideal to perform the treatments between 34-36 weeks of gestation. Several treatments may be required to re-position the fetus. The recommended average number of treatments is 4 to obtain results. Position of the fetus is confirmed with follow-up ultrasound after 4 treatments.

Labour Preparation
$175 initial consult $125 follow up treatment These treatments are meant to nourish and condition the body and prepare it for labour. Studies have shown women who have treatments end up requiring much less intervention during labour and delivery. It is recommended to have 3 treatments prior to due date. |

Labour induction treatments are given only in cases where a medical/chemical induction is eminent. Acupuncture can induce labour and significantly decrease duration of labour, improve efficacy of contractions and post partum recovery. It can be performed before contractions have begun in delayed labour and after labour has commenced but has stalled. It can even be performed after your water has broken. House calls, birth centre and hospital calls available. On call service available.
